A saving relationship with God begins by drawing near to Him in repentance, and receiving the forgiveness and salvation found only in Jesus Christ. But it doesn’t stop there.
In Luke 9:23, Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” Peter echoes this same call even in our most difficult times, “For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps” (1 Peter 2:21).
Likewise, at Bethel we long to see believers at every stage of maturity continue to “work out [their] salvation” in the context of daily life (Philippians 2:12), to grow and thrive in relationship with the Lord and each other- and to be used by Him beyond the walls of our church. We call this worshiping, walking and working for Christ.
Just remember, no matter where you are in your Christian walk, you don’t need to take that next step alone. Your church family is here to come alongside – and an army of disciples are ready for you to grow along with them.
